ANGEL GARCIA: MIND GAMES OR VICARIOUS LIVING?
Danny Garcia vs. Zab Judah was already a highlight on many fight fans’ calendars. Well it just might have become even more interesting.
The hulabaloo caused by the verbal shenanigans (contrary to misleading reports not even a whiff of a punch was thrown) at the recently concluded press conference for Garcia vs. Judah are all over the interwebs. Surprise, surprise, the apparent instigator wasn’t even one of the men who will be lacing them up. It was the mouth of the south (Philly that is), Angel Garcia. Mr. Garcia is developing quite the reputation for instigating.
What I’m wondering is whether Angel Garcia’s antics are mind games to make his son’s opponent focus on a knockout and abandon a more strategic approach. Or is he attempting to live vicariously through his son who will be stepping in the ring?
