RICKY HATTON COMEBACK UPDATE: LICENSE TALKS HELD

Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton is remaining coy and tight-lipped about the rumors that he’s potentially making a comeback. “Don’t you find it strange that it’s been in every paper, all over the box, but not on here? Don’t you think if a comebacks on you’d here it from me? Its everywhere and I haven’t said or done a single interview. ha ha,” Hatton would post on his official Twitter page. Nevertheless, the rumors continue to heat up, as it is said that Hatton recently held “informal” talks with the British Boxing Board of Control about obtaining a boxing license. Further talks have been scheduled, and provided he is successful in getting re-licensed, then all rumors and hearsay will come to fruition, with the return of the popular Mancunian already said to be scheduled for November 24 at the MEN Arena.

The Manchester Evening News is reporting that undefeated middleweight Martin Murray could be in line to make an appearance on the Ricky Hatton comeback card, said to be scheduled for November 24 at the MEN arena, and could be fighting for a title. A rematch between Scott Quigg and Rendall Munroe is also said to be in talks for the card. Yet another Hatton fighter, Anthony Crolla, is also rumored to be on the bill, which will no doubt make big news with the popular Hitman returning to the ring after a lengthy and problematic lay off.
