With the return of Ricky Hatton is rapidly approaching, his challenger, former welterweight champion Vyacheslav Senchenko, held an open workout Wednesday afternoon in Manchester, giving everybody in attendance a preview of what’s in store for The Hitman when he steps back into the ring on November 24 at the MEN arena in Manchester.
Hatton, has not fought since a well-documented second round knockout loss to Fillipino icon Manny Pacquiao. He’s hoping to return to his winning against Senchenko (32-1) before possibly setting his sights on a world title, reportedly against an old foe in Paulie Malinaggi, who Hatton brutally stopped in 11 rounds back in 2008. Senchenko, however, has his own plans for revenge against Malignaggi, who handed him his first and only loss, and will look to bring an end to Hatton’s return before it even gets started.
