They all recently fought on WealthTV and many of them will be fighting again in a few weeks.
What’s a WealthTV, you might ask.
Is it a high end, ridiculously expensive type of TV set that only the wealthy can afford? Errm, no it isn’t.
It’s a relatively new cable TV channel, over here in America, which surprisingly and regularly shows a lot of interesting boxing courtesy of their ‘Fight Night’ series. WealthTV has also been home to some of Britain’s up and coming popular boxers, in particular David Price, Tyson Fury and James DeGale. The channel continues that trend by broadcasting next week’s Kal Yafai & Prizefighter welterweights event.
As if that wasn’t enough to pique the interest of boxing fans on this side of the Atlantic, you can watch WealthTV even if your cable operator doesn’t offer the channel (check your local listings), or if you don’t have cable.
How? On your computer, or whatever internet connected device you have via the WealthTV.com web site. This feature requires a separate fee, but it’s a pretty sweet deal – 99c a month or $9.99 a year for crystal clear coverage (EPIXHD.com and a few other sites also offer a similar option, but they haven’t been showing nearly as much, good boxing as my Wealthy friends).
If WealthTV’s dedication to the sweet science means that the ‘1%’ actually like boxing as much as I do, then maybe those hoarders of money aren’t so bad after all…
